Description:

You will learn what tools you’ll need to sharpen, how to hold, place and move a knife while sharpening, general procedures along with specific do's and don'ts, sharpening stones, the target “angle” and other useful tips and techniques.

This hands-on class is designed to help you start sharpening without having any previous sharpening experience.

Objectives:

  • Understand how sharpening works and how/what to do.

  • Be able to reestablish a sharp edge on a dull knife.
